Antonino Rangel: Celebrating 15 Years
Antonino Rangel Alvarez (or Antonio, as everyone calls him) is celebrating his 15-year anniversary with Myatt Landscaping this week! Antonino started out as a laborer when he heard about the job from a friend. He worked his way up to Crew Leader in Training, and finally was promoted to Crew Leader within the landscape maintenance department.
Scott Myatt says about Antonino, “I cannot say enough good things. He is one of the nicest people that I have ever met. Antonio always goes above and beyond for his clients and does an outstanding job. We are very fortunate to have had Antonio on our team for the past 15 years!”
Looking back at his career, he considers becoming a crew leader to be his greatest success. The thing he enjoys most about his job is being outside with nature, and he is proud to be one of the best pruners in the company. He says he doesn’t have a favorite plant--There are too many to choose just one.
Antonino’s favorite quote is “El respeto al derecho ajeno es la paz,” by Benito Juárez, which translates to “Respect for the rights of others is peace.”
He advises others interested in a career in the green industry to work hard and not be lazy, and you will succeed.
