Scott founded Myatt Landscaping and Construction in 1994 at just 19 years old, driven by a passion for landscape installation and construction. What began as a small operation quickly gained traction thanks to Scott’s work ethic, commitment to quality, and genuine care for his clients. Over the years, he transformed that early vision into the full-service Design, Build, and Maintenance firm Myatt is today, known for delivering exceptional landscapes across residential, commercial, and high-profile projects. Scott has built a team of award winning professionals and has created a culture that allows talented people to thrive. He invests heavily in developing leaders, encouraging craftsmanship, and maintaining a standard of excellence that is felt in every division of the company. Under his guidance, Myatt has earned a reputation not only for high quality work but also for reliability, integrity, and long lasting client relationships.

Todd joined his brother Scott shortly after the founding of Myatt Landscaping and Construction, quickly establishing himself as a trusted leader within the company. From the beginning, he embraced the role of project manager, bringing an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and a hands-on approach that ensured every phase of construction met the highest standards. His dedication to quality and client satisfaction became a hallmark of the company’s reputation. Over the years, Todd has evolved into a key driver of Myatt’s growth, now leading business development and forging strong partnerships with custom builders, developers, and clients across the Triangle. Leveraging decades of experience and the relationships he has cultivated within the landscaping industry, Todd consistently brings exceptional value to both clients and the Myatt team.

Ronny joined his sons Scott and Todd at Myatt Landscaping and Construction after retiring from a long career in construction and safety management. He now oversees fleet and equipment safety, serving as the company’s logistics specialist to ensure all trucks and equipment are properly maintained, allocated, and transported to job sites across the state.

Chris joined Myatt Landscaping and Construction to lead the estimation and purchasing side of the business. After college, he began his career as a manufacturing technician, and he has since leveraged his analytical background to translate designers’ plans into clear, accurate proposals for clients. Today, Chris leads our estimation and purchasing teams as well as handles AR for our Installation and Construction Division.

Ryan joined Myatt Landscaping and Construction to establish our maintenance division 4 years after the company was started. A graduate of NC State with a degree in Turfgrass Management, Ryan has grown the division into one of the company’s most sought-after services. He and his team manage every client and maintenance crew with expertise and precision, ensuring that the quality of work is always exceptional.

Bobby graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture. He began his career in the field, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field before transitioning into management. After joining Myatt as an Account Manager, Bobby quickly demonstrated a natural aptitude for numbers, contracts, accounts receivable, and operational precision. Today, he focuses on driving profitability and supporting his team in consistently exceeding client expectations. Bobby ensures that our maintenance operations adhere to contract requirements, remain on budget, and bill accurately for all contracted services.

Herbie is a graduate of NC State University, where he studied Ornamentals and Landscape Design. Shortly after graduation, he joined Myatt as a crew member in our Installation and Construction division. Herbie dedicated himself to learning the craft hands-on from some of our most experienced crew leaders, eventually earning his own crew leader role. From there, he continued to rise, ultimately becoming the leader of our entire Installation and Construction division. Today, Herbie and his team are award-winning, highly sought-after landscape professionals known for the quality, detail, and care they bring to every project.

Linda Matthews brings to the team an experienced Office Manager and Accounting professional with several decades of experience, ensuring smooth administrative and financial operations in a fast-paced environment. With expertise in Excel and QuickBooks, her key responsibilities include managing accounts payable/payroll, human resources, and conducting monthly bank reconciliations. She is known for her strong organizational skills, detail-oriented approach, and ability to manage multiple tasks to keep the company organized in a proficient manner.

Misty brings nearly three decades of experience in the green industry, beginning her career after attending NC State and building a diverse foundation across almost every aspect of landscaping. This broad background gives her a unique perspective on how great landscape companies function and what teams need to succeed. Misty oversees recruiting, safety, training, social media, and key HR functions for Myatt. She is deeply committed to finding the right people and creating a company culture where employees feel supported and valued. Her work helps ensure that Myatt continues to attract top talent, maintain high safety standards, and communicate the company’s story with authenticity and pride.

Anna has been leading our floriculture program since 1998, bringing deep expertise in selecting annuals that thrive in specific areas along with the show-stopping artistry that Myatt Landscaping is known for. Her designs are admired far and wide by our clients, and she continues to create beautiful, memorable displays.

Cassandra is an incredible landscape designer whose work has shaped residential landscapes across the Triangle for more than four decades. Before joining Myatt, she spent 44 years with Sears Design Group, one of the region’s most respected and influential landscape design firms. Our team partnered with Cassandra and Sears Design Group for many years before the owner retired, consistently seeing her creativity, precision, and vision shine through in every project. Her depth of experience, artistic eye, and ability to turn a client’s vision into a thoughtful, functional design make her an invaluable part of Myatt and a true standout in the green industry.

Jasmine serves as an Estimator, bringing a strong foundation in horticulture and landscape design to every project. She began her career studying Horticultural Science with a focus on Landscape Design at NC State University, then gained broad experience estimating and designing landscapes. Over time, she advanced into leadership roles, managing teams locally and later transitioning into regional management positions. Today, Jasmine works closely with the Installation and Construction Managers, designers, and clients to ensure projects are accurately scoped, competitively bid, and clearly communicated from the very beginning. Her attention to detail and collaborative approach help set projects up for success and ensure a smooth, positive experience for clients.

Alana joined our team after several years working in horticulture and landscape design throughout the Triangle. She graduated from NC State with a degree in Horticulture and a concentration in Landscape Design. Alana joined our team as an Enhancement Designer, but quickly demonstrated the ability to manage larger, more complex projects. Her designs are thoughtful, innovative, and rooted in strong horticultural knowledge. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of how landscapes grow and evolve, Alana’s work reflects the timeless style and craftsmanship Myatt has been known for decades.

Carah graduated from UNCW and began her career in operations within the material handling equipment industry, where she developed a strong foundation in logistics, workflow coordination, and administrative support. That experience prepared her for her current role as a Project Coordinator in our Installation and Construction division. In this position, Carah supports projects from planning through completion by managing scheduling, permitting, utility locates, invoice allocation, and labor time entry. She also works closely with estimators on bidding and project details. Her attention to detail and strong communication skills help ensure projects stay organized, efficient, and on schedule.

Jonathan Clifton has been an integral member of the Myatt team for 10 years. A graduate of NC State with a degree in Parks and Natural Resources Management, Jonathan spent three years gaining experience at other companies before joining Myatt as a Crew Leader. His strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and dedication quickly stood out, and he was a natural choice when Myatt expanded to add a Project Manager role to the team. Today, Jonathan leads some of the company’s most prestigious projects across the Triangle, guiding teams with expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.

Santiago has been an integral part of the Myatt team for nearly three decades. Throughout that time, he built an incredible legacy within our Installation and Construction Division, contributing to some of the most prestigious projects across the Triangle and beyond. His skill, dedication, and leadership were instrumental when it came time to launch our Maintenance Division, and Santiago made the transition to help establish our residential maintenance program with the same level of excellence. When the need arose to add a new manager, Santiago was a natural choice to lead crews and train new crew leaders in the methods and standards that have defined his career. While he was initially hesitant to step into this new role, he has fully embraced it and continues to mentor team members toward long, successful careers at Myatt.

Robby has been a valued member of the Myatt team since shortly after our Maintenance Division was launched. From the very beginning, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the customer service model that defines our maintenance clients’ experience today. Many of Robby’s clients have trusted him with their homes and outdoor spaces for decades, a testament to the consistency, care, and excellence he and his team deliver every day. Beyond his client relationships, Robby is deeply committed to developing others. He mentors new crew members and supports employees who aspire to grow into management roles, helping to build the next generation of leaders within our company. Trusted with some of the most prestigious properties inside the Beltline, Robby has been instrumental in growing our Maintenance Division into the powerhouse it is today.

Hector Olvera Lugo has been a cornerstone of Myatt Landscaping and Construction for 30 years. Joining the company in its early days, Hector played a critical role in building the foundation of what Myatt is today. Over three decades, he has mastered multiple areas of landscaping and hardscaping, contributing his expertise to some of the company’s most complex projects. Beyond his technical skill, Hector has mentored countless team members, passing on knowledge and professionalism. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence have made him an invaluable part of the Myatt family and its ongoing success.

John has been a dedicated member of the Myatt team for nearly two decades, spending those years honing his craft and leading his teams to excellence. For much of his career with Myatt, John successfully ran a satellite branch, ensuring his team had everything they needed to care for a large, complex property with many technical challenges. He consistently delivered thoughtful, effective solutions that balanced horticulturally sound practices with the unique needs of the site and the client. Last year, John shifted gears and joined our Fuquay management team, where he now leads crews as they take on new clients and helps smoothly onboard them into the Myatt standard of care. His experience, steady leadership, and problem solving skills continue to make a lasting impact across our growing organization.

Edwin attended the prestigious Sandhills Community College, gaining hands-on experience in their renowned arboretum. After graduation, he began his career in the tree care industry, building a strong foundation in plant health and landscape management. Edwin joined Myatt Landscaping and Construction as a Crew Leader and quickly progressed to Account Manager. Known for his dedication and attention to detail, he treats every client’s landscape as his own. Edwin takes pride not only in the care of his sites but also in mentoring his teams, reflecting his sense of ownership and commitment to excellence throughout Myatt.

Kate brings extensive horticultural expertise and hands-on experience to Myatt Landscaping and Construction. She began her career in private estate gardening, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of high-quality plant care. She studied landscape design at Wake Tech and earned a degree in horticulture from NC State University. Kate joined Myatt as the on-site Horticulturist at Raleigh Iron Works, quickly demonstrating the value of dedicated horticultural oversight on complex, high-visibility properties. Today, she works across the company with Design, Installation, Construction, and Maintenance teams, ensuring every site thrives, plants look their best, and crews receive expert training. Her knowledge, passion, and collaborative approach make her an essential part of the Myatt team, helping set the standard for excellence our clients expect.

Jacob joined the Myatt team in 2022 and quickly demonstrated his ability to lead crews and manage sites with confidence. A graduate of NC State’s Agricultural Institute with degrees in Turfgrass Management and Landscape Ornamentals, Jacob began his career in municipal parks before transitioning to private sector landscape maintenance. He joined Myatt as a driver on an established crew and advanced to Crew Leader within months. After six months as an Assistant Account Manager, Jacob became a full Account Manager in 2024, fully managing his own sites. His growth reflects the power of hard work, dedication, and opportunity.

Sharon brings a unique blend of horticultural expertise and leadership to our team. She began her career in the green industry as an assistant horticulturist before attending NC State University. After completing her studies, she joined the U.S. Navy, where she served for eight years—a commitment she continues today as a proud Navy Reservist. Following her active-duty service, Sharon returned to the landscape industry, growing her career as a residential maintenance crew leader and later as an enhancement designer. With a strong foundation in plant knowledge, field operations, and hands-on training, Sharon is a tremendous asset to our Horticultural Services team. She excels at supporting and training our crews in the field, ensuring best practices, consistent quality, and a thoughtful approach to the landscapes we care for.

Tyler is a proud NC State graduate with a degree in Turfgrass Management and Agricultural Business. He began his career in the golf course industry, gaining a deep understanding of turf health, precision maintenance, and high-standard presentation. After several years in that world, he transitioned into landscape maintenance, focusing on residential properties and high-end commercial sites. Today, Tyler leads teams at some of the most high-profile properties in the Myatt portfolio. He is known for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring every site under his care reflects the quality and professionalism our company is known for across the Triangle.
